Botswana is a landlocked country with a stable democracy and is a peace loving nation. After diamonds, tourism is the next largest source of revenue. Nearly 40% of the country has been set aside for wildlife, comprising national parks and concessions which are operated by safari companies within strict official guidelines.
Botswana offers one of the last unspoiled wilderness experiences in Africa. Unfenced game reserves, with an abundance of animals, together with some of the continent's most spectacular and varied birdlife, brings the visitor a touch of the wild pioneer spirit of yesteryear.

The Okavango Delta – the world's largest inland delta - transforms 15,000 sq kms of potential desert into a paradise of crystal clear waterways, creating islands, marshes and lagoons. tribal fishermen still silently pole their dugout ‘mokoro’ through this verdant wonderland.
The waterless Kalahari covers two thirds of the country, and is aptly described as a ‘thirstland’. This is where one experiences the vast herds that roam free and wild.
The Okavango and Kalahari are legendary, and combined with the Chobe, Savuti and Moremi National Parks; create a remarkably different African safari.
