Tilodi Wilderness offers the visitor a combination of rolling hills, wetlands and seasonal rivers with excellent game viewing and birding. To date, the bird list exceeds 296 species including the long tailed shrike, or Tilodi, with game such as sable antelope, tsessebe, eland, waterbuck, wildebeest, zebra and giraffe, as well as rhino, buffalo, hippo and leopard.
Tilodi Wilderness is well situated less than two hours drive from OR Tambo International Airport (previously Johannesburg International Airport) and Sandton, an easy drive on good roads. Relax and enjoy game drives, horse trails and walks or just relax and unwind.
