DAY 1: MONDAY
Johannesburg – Blydepoort – Ohrigstad
07h00: Collection from Sandton or Rosebank hotels or any other hotel by prior arrangement
07h30: Depart from Johannesburg and travel across the plains of the Highveld via the coal mining town of Witbank to Dullstroom. Then cross over Long Tom Pass, via the town of Sabie to historical village of Pilgrims Rest for a fascinating glimpse of the alluvial gold rush days. Stop for lunch at Scott’s Café; then continue along the Panorama Route with a visit to Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the spectacular Blyde River Canyon

Time permitting: Enjoy an evening open land rover safari at Hannah Lodge near Ohrigstad
DAY 2: TUESDAY
Ohrigstad – Kruger National Park
After breakfast proceed via the Abel Erasmus Pass which reveals panoramic views of the Olifants River Valley and includes the J.G. Strydom Tunnel. Travel to Hoedspruit and visit the famous Kapama Cheetah Centre for an audio visual presentation followed by a guided tour where these magnificent animals may be viewed at close quarters, before entering the world famous Kruger National Park. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon in the Park
Kruger is the largest game reserve in South Africa. It is roughly the same size as Wales. It covers 18,989 square km (7,332 sq mi) and extends 350 km (217 mi) from north to south and 60 km (37 mi) from east to west.The Kruger Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa and the world. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms

DAY 3: WEDNESDAY
Kruger National Park
A full day is spent game viewing in search of Africa’s 'Big Five', enjoying the incredible variety of flora and fauna in the Park, a host of other animals and prolific birdlife.

DAY 4: THURSDAY
Kruger National Park – Swaziland
After breakfast, there is another chance to view Africa’s big game in their natural habitat as you drive through the Park and then through beautiful mountain scenery to enter the mystical Kingdom of Swaziland. Here an African King rules contented people who observe ancient rites and traditions. We pass through timber plantations before our night stop near the mountains and forests of Mhlambanyatsi. There will be time to visit the renowned Ngwenya Glass Factory and to browse and shop in the traditional Swazi Market

DAY 5: FRIDAY
Swaziland – Hluhluwe
Enjoy the continuing scenic route through Swaziland. Re-enter South Africa at the Golela Border Post, with the Lebombo Mountains towering in the east. Enter northern Kwa-Zulu Natal and in the afternoon visit the famous Hluhluwe Game Reserve, renowned for its White Rhino. Here you will also find many other species including Black Rhino, Nyala, and Impala

DAY 6: SATURDAY
Hluhluwe – Durban
After breakfast travel to a Zulu kraal for an enchanting step back into history. Be entertained with lectures and visual displays on many aspects of African tribal culture such as hut building, stick fighting, bead making and the full spectrum of Arts and Crafts. Enjoy a traditional lunch. Drive along the North Coast road, through extensive sugar plantations to Durban, South Africa's premier holiday resort

DAY 7: SUNDAY
Durban – Port Elizabeth
The morning is at leisure for independent activities
Transfer to Durban International Airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth (flight excluded)
Arrive in Port Elizabeth, the friendly City, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel

DAY 8: MONDAY
Port Elizabeth – Wilderness
08h30: Meet your Africapass guide at reception
Continue travelling South through the Tzitzikamma Forest to Plettenberg Bay, skirting the Indian Ocean Coastline and then along the famous Garden Route to Knysna and the Wilderness area for overnight

DAY 9: TUESDAY
Knysna and the Lake District
After an early breakfast, depart from the hotel to George Railway Station to board the “Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe” Enjoy a ride on this historical steam train for a spectacular trip through vistas of sea, forests, mountains and lagoons, to Knysna. This popular holiday resort is situated on the shores of the beautiful Knysna Lagoon and guarded by two promontories known as the 'Heads'. Knysna offers shopping opportunities of unusual locally made arts and crafts

DAY 10: WEDNESDAY
George – Oudtshoorn – Cango Caves
Today travel across the Outeniqua Mountains en route to Oudtshoorn where a visit will be made to an ostrich farm for a demonstration of this unusual bird and its husbandry. Enjoy a typical traditional lunch in the Farmhouse Restaurant. Afterwards, visit the spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo, the Cango Caves, featuring the finest dripstone caverns with vast halls and towering formations, followed by a visit to the Crocodile and Cheetah Ranch

DAY 11: THURSDAY
Wilderness – Cape Town
After breakfast continue along the Garden Route via Mossel Bay, Riversdale and Swellendam. The tour takes the route along the scenic coastal road via Betty’s Bay and Gordon’s Bay featuring spectacular views of the Hottentot Holland Mountains and False Bay, with the Cape Peninsula and Table Mountain in the distance, terminating in Cape Town at approximately 1700 hours
Drop off at your hotel by prior arrangement or at Cape Town International Airport - (Breakfast)
