Capital: Lusaka
Zambia is a vast country, peaceful and friendly, and often described as ‘the real Africa’. The National Parks are relatively unknown and have been protected but not developed, making it a most rewarding wilderness experience as it is still largely undiscovered.
It shares the Victoria Falls with its neighbour Zimbabwe, has a wildebeest migration that rivals the Serengeti and yet is hardly seen, has vast wetlands, rivers and lakes and two of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa – the Kafue National Park and the Luangwa National Park.

The concentrations of game offer a legendary safari with accommodation in superb lodges. Air charter is the most suitable means of transferring between the various parks.
Zambia pioneered the walking safari - take a traditional walking safari in Luangwa in a pristine game viewing area, experience game viewing from open vehicles or catch a tiger fish in the Lower Zambezi National Park, or enjoy the adventure packed activities that abound on and around the Zambezi River.
